Ted and I got schooled about the uterus, placenta and baby. We both clearly didn't pay attention when learning that in health class. The baby's heartbeat was easy to find visit since he (or she) has grown considerably from the last four weeks.
The baby and placenta are now about the same size roughly 4.57 inches and approximately 3.53 ounces. Around this time, I might start feeling the baby move, but I haven't felt anything yet.
We can schedule the first sonogram for anytime two weeks from now. I'm shooting for April 14th, which is our 3rd anniversary. They will tell us the sex and size of the baby at this appointment and give us a new due date based on the size of the baby. They also make predictions like how much the baby will weigh when it is born, but these can be off by as much as 2 lbs in either direction so it kind of seems like pointless information.
