I think a professional fireworks show is just as fun as a DIY show. Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately), the laws in our area prevent us from Ted's fireworks spectacular. This year Ted's parents will be in town and our weekend will be filled with food, fun and fireworks. We are planning to go to Corporate Woods to watch the City of Overland Park's fireworks show. These fireworks never disappoint and they have tons of food vendors and entertainment to occupy the time until the show starts.I hope everyone has a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!

One of my favorite holidays too. My Mom's birthday and big doings in my small home town. Many fond memories. Enjoy your day and be safe (and keep cool). Say he to Ned and Jean from us.
I LOVE the 4th too!! We will be laying by the pool and barbecuing at my parents house in Wichita. I hope you guys have a great holiday! I hope to make the Corporate Woods fireworks show someday.
