Christmas?

Nope, just awesome grandparents, parents and neighbors. First up, the door back door. As you can see below, the original door had a standing window with a door on a hinge that swung open. We were having a lot of problems with that door for example, it leaked when it rained and the summer season made the door almost impossible to open. It was time for an upgrade. Thanks to Grandpa's handy skills, we were able to install this ourselves saving us lots of $$$ and I know the installation was done right. Also, thanks to the government, we will get a 30% tax credit from the purchase of the new door because it has the energy efficient (low e) glass.

Taking out the old back door. They make it look really simple, but this was quite the process.

Good-bye old door. And by good-bye I mean it is leaning against a tree in the front yard if anyone wants it!

Hello new slider! This door is easy to open and doesn't take up any space in the kitchen because it doesn't have to swing in like the old door.

Here is the new door from the outside.

Next up, our awesome neighbors! I am wearing some super cute and comfortable maternity clothes our neighbor (thanks Elizabeth!) is letting me borrow. It is really nice to switch it up. Our other neighbor (thanks Lori!) painted the below for Gracie's room. It is an oil painting so it has layers/texture. To quote Ted "I think this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen".

Lori incorporated owls, a monkey, giraffes, a frog and cute bugs!

Thanks to everyone that has helped us out along this journey! It really means a lot to us to have such a great support system.
