Blog Award

I'm so behind on blogging, I didn't know where to start, so I'm going to start with my first blog award.  My sister-in-law Liz gave me (and partly Ted) this award.   You can check out her blog here.

 

In honor of this award, I'm supposed to list seven random facts about me.  Here we go...

1.  I have been to NYC 4 times.  My most recent trip being being over this past weekend.  A blog post is soon to follow about that trip

2.  I had 4 jobs in 2 years after graduating college.  Sometimes things don't work out and sometimes better offers come your way, but regardless, that is a lot of job jumping!  I've been at my current job for 2.5 years now.

3.  My current job titles include Office Manager, Marketing Assistant and Assistant Vice President.  This always cracks me up!

4.  I've never traveled outside of the Americas.  I really need to get to Europe someday!

5.  In high school I played the clarinet.  My friend and I thought it would be fun to play the tuba so in my junior and senior of high school, I marched with a Sousaphone.  I couldn't play it, but we had fun.

6.  I'm finally to an age where I feel like I'm figuring life out and learning what matters most.  One example being that I am going skydiving sometime soon.  You only live once and life is about experiences.  While I know I won't be able to do everything with everybody, I do want to experience more!

7.  While living in Chicago, I requested last minute Oprah tickets (they do this for locals to fill seats) and got tickets!  It was really cool to see her live show.  Also, in Chicago, I went sailing on Lake Michigan, saw The Color Purple, Wicked and the Spelling Bee AND bought my (and Ted's) first home.
