Incident Report
This is G's fourth week at her new daycare and her official count is 2. That's right, 2 blow-outs and 2 incident reports (which if you want to get technical, that would make her count 4). Yesterday I got hit with one of each. An incident report is when your child gets injured, not when they misbehave. The first incident report was the day of the multicultural parade. She had a cut under her chin and the teachers aren't sure what happened. An incident report describes in full where the injury was sustained, what happened (if they saw it) and what action was taken. Yesterday's incident was remedied with a wash of the right forearm and an ice pack application. What do you think happened? The report says she was playing with a "friend" and got bit. Totally not a big deal and we knew this would happen one day. I have no idea which "friend" they are referring to, but I'm just glad she isn't the biter!

oh no! I'm glad G is ok. That would be horrid to be the parent of the kid that bites!
