Mother's Day and 30 Weeks

Well, Mother's Day was interesting.  We had big plans to have lunch in Warrensburg and then my grandma was going to give Grace her first haircut.  We got dressed nicer than usual for a Sunday, loaded up in the car and about 5 miles outside of Warrensburg, G gagged and started crying.  I rubbed her leg and said we were almost there and then she gagged and puked.  Luckily, Ted was able to immediately pull over into a gas station, unluckily, the gas station's restroom was a port-a-pot :(
I luckily had packed an extra outfit for G, so we cleaned her and the carseat up and loaded her back in the car.  Clearly the wet puke remnants she was sitting in didn't bother her because she fell right to sleep.  Ted and I on the other hand had the windows cracked and tried not to wet our pants on our 45 minute drive home - remember the port-a-pot was the only facility.

We got home.  I changed my clothes and bathed G while Ted started operation puke clean-up.  G was clearly feeling better and helped Daddy wash up a garage sale car that is going to my mom's house.
The puked in car seat is on the far right as is the car being aired out.  Luckily Ted did an excellent job and there was no puke smell in the car on Monday.  There is still some smell lingering on the car seat though.

Next up, I am 30 weeks pregnant.  Here I am putting away G's laundry and brushing her teeth.  Everyone always assumes Ted takes care of everything, so here is some proof that when it comes to G, Ted just sits and takes photos while I do all the work!
I made G give me a kiss.
10 more weeks.
See the owls?!?!
Everyone says you gain less on your second pregnancy and so far that is holding true.  I'm up 20 lbs and I'd have to gain 1.5lbs/week to gain the 35 I did last time.  I guess mothering a 19 month old keeps my weight in check!  Oh man, time is flying, but see in the photo the boy owl wall hangings I recently purchased!  They still need to be hung (hint, hint Ted).  G is all moved into to her big girl room - more to come on that - so this room is all Chip's!

Love that her and Ted washed the car together. So cute!
