34 Weeks

We are coming right along in this pregnancy.  Our original due date was July 16th and our updated one was July 22nd.  My doctor is still using the July 16th date as a measure and I'm not sure how much I trust the July 22nd analysis from our sono-tech since it was only her second solo ultrasound.  My doctor said we could order another ultrasound and I initially declined because I didn't think it was necessary, but the more I think about the baby, the more I want a better estimate on the due date, so we are going to schedule an ultrasound soon.

So...I'm 34 or 35 weeks pregnant, meaning we have four and half to five and half more weeks.  Yikes!

Grace can say the baby's name now.

But I still don't think she totally understands that the baby won't always be in Mommy's tummy.

We'll figure it out soon enough.

In other news.  Grace has had a hard few weeks.  Last week it was her tooth and this week is a nice shiner.

Here is the offending wall corner.

We were playing chase and she turned to run from me and hit right on that corner.  Luckily it didn't hit her eye, but her eyelid instantly turned purple (it is her right eye).  I'll get an updated photo tonight because it definitely looks even worse the day after.
