First Haircut

We decided to give the drive to Warrensburg for G's first haircut another shot.  This time though, Ted biked there so there was no turning back!  The morning started out rough.  Grace was not feeling well and didn't sleep through the night.  After a few hours of sleep in her bed, 5 am came around and she came and snuggled with me.

I finally wiggled myself out around 7:30.

Then Riley licked her face and woke her up :(  I knew Grace was off, but I wasn't sure exactly what the problem was so I gave her some Motrin before our drive, then in the afternoon, we noticed a significant amount of leakage from her ear.

We made it to Grandma's with only one meltdown because of her shoes and Ted made it to Grandma's also.  We had a yummy lunch and then it was haircut time!

Grace was not going to wear the cape.

She was really well behaved during all four minutes of her cut.

Maybe holding the comb helped.

And then Grace played in the salon chair.  Followed by more playtime outside with Grandpa.

We did some counting and then headed back home.  Grace was asleep before we hit the highway.  The weather was beautiful and this was a really nice Saturday morning/afternoon.
